I finally scrapped….

 

Well at least I think I did….does it count if you use quick pages and changed them up a bit to fit what you want?  Because that is exactly what I did tonight.  I have been itching to scrap, but the truth is that I am not even sure anymore where to start.  I haven’t touched anything in over a year and well it became a little intimidating, so I decided that a few quick pages would just be what a needed.

Since I took such sweet pictures last weekend of Olivia and Tyler I decided to use those and hopefully soon I will get lots of mojo and finally get all the old pictures done.  {One can hope & dream, right?}

 

 

Christmas Tags

 

I have yet to wrap any of our presents, but I did manage to make these cute Christmas Tags last night!  I totally love these vintage pictures by Katie Pertiet and by adding just a little Martha Stewart Glitter and Ranger Stickles I just love they way they turned out.

Now all I have to do is wrap all my presents and then I can finally see them in action!

Digital Layout

 

I have been trying really hard to get some layouts done of both Olivia and Tyler, but even though I sit at my desk for what seems hours I just cannot decide where to start or even what to use.  I have realized in the last few weeks that even though I have not scrapped a single layout in the last year or so, I have yet to stop buying things.  I think that I have become more of a hoarder than an actual scrapper.  :( 

 

Right now I have 2 layouts in progress but cannot seem to make any final decisions.  I decided to go through my scrap journal and magazines, but nothing was really helping.  Instead I started editing the hundreds...did I mention hundreds of pictures that I have of the kids, and that's when out of nowhere I got this idea for a layout of Tyler.  Since my desk is an absolute mess, I went digital!  Well I really love how it turned out.  I know that its super super simple, but I think it really is just perfect for the picture and the memory!

 

Cards...

I have not completed a Layout in more than 6 months....seriously cannot get any of the thoughts running around like crazy in my head down! I am trying really hard to stay motivated and so have been making cards in order to get my mojo going. Here are just a few...

I got my grove on and scrapped tonight....

Just tonight I was complaining to my online scrap girlfriends that I have not scrapped in over a month due to a lack of mojo. Well tonight after putting Ms. Olivia to sleep I locked myself in my office with a nice glass of wine, Faith Hill CD and decided to make something.

And I did...I ended up not touching the projects on my desk for the last 3/4 weeks and instead decided to make cards. So now I can rest for the cards for the b-day's in Sept. are done and hopefully my mojo is back on. One can hope~~~

Made these using my Cricut and the "New Arrival" Cartridge. I am seriously loving this cartridge, you can make the cutest cards for little boy birthdays. Can't wait to play with this one again...already have a few ideas running in my head, but of course its 2:00 AM and I seriously need to go to bed. Another day!
