This morning I woke up feeling down and a little depressed! I think that this constant gloomy and rainy weather is making me feel a little blue, plus my daughter decided to run into my room at 2:00 AM and proceeded to jump on me and scream “ WAKE UP, MOMMY – WAKE UP! “ That’s what you get when you move a 2 year old from a crib to a “big girl” bed. Now she can get up and move around anytime she wants. LOL

Hubby is off today so I decided to go out and do something just for me! Drove around for a while got myself a Venti Cinnamon Dulce Latte at Starbucks and well decided to go and have my hair done. Just a simple blow out, but darn I left the salon so happy and excited that I couldn’t stop smiling. Amazing how when you’re hair looks good you feel like you can conquer the world.

Today is my SIL’s birthday so we are all going out to dinner to celebrate! God I hope that Miss Olivia behaves and doesn’t throw a fit in the restaurant. I tried to make reservations for 6:30, but the clan [all 12 of us] couldn’t coordinate our schedules for that time, so 7:30 it is now!!!!

Sooooo Happy

After months of waiting for the doctor to say “Everything is Fine” we finally got the word last week that I am doing much better and that we can finally try for our second child. Thankfully the strict regiment of shoots and pills for my B12 deficiency {in all actuality I am B12 anemic and will have to continue taking pills} worked much faster than the doctor first predicted.

The last few months have been tough for me because I have felt guilt that our “dreams” had come to a stand still because I had not taken care of myself physically. No matter how many times Ryan tried to comfort me and tell me that I was being “crazy” for letting this upset me, I just wasn’t able to shake the feelings.

I guess a lot of it had to do with the fact that I had ignored the signs … I was constantly tired, my mood swings…well they sure were hard to handle. But well I just kept on putting them off as being tired from running around and taking on too much at the same time. I now know that I will be a lot more “alert” to what my body is telling me and will continue to take care of myself.

We are both really HAPPY and now will just have to wait to see what happens. In the mean time we are trying to prepare Miss Olivia for the possibility that she might be a Big Sister in the near future. She sooooooo does not like to share her mommy with anyone else, including daddy so this will be a very Important thing to teach her.

On another note, I attended my very first scrapbooking expo this weekend. It was great, I had such an awesome time. I took three {3} classes and than ended the day by buying way way tooo much stuff. Oh well...at least I now have tons of new stuff to play with. LOL

The classes were great, however I really dont' think they alloted the correct amount of time to finish each of the projects. I think out of the 20 people present in each class only about 1 or 2 actually finished it in class. NO MATTER - I still had tons of fun.

Here are two of the projects I finished today - they are both Mini's and I really like they way they ended up coming out. I have yet to add pictures and think that I will give the "Family Accordian Album" to my best friend. She would enjoy it!!!!

Scrapbooking ...

My passion for scrapbooking is growing with each passing day. I love to check out all the resources on my hobby, from magazines to online galleries I can’t seem to go a day without looking and finding something new that I want to try.

I am lucky to have a wonderful hubby who is not only supportive of my passion but also loves to look at my creations and is proud to tell anyone that will stand still for a few minutes of what I do and how amazing he finds it. {I don’t quite see my “work” as he does, but I love that he loves it and thinks it’s wonderful.} So for today as an introduction to my new blog here are a few of my favorites from the last few months.
