=============================================
I have always been completely fascinated by sewing and knitting, now more than ever. And lately I have had the most overwhelming urges to go out and buy every single item necessary to dig in to one of these new crafts.
I always loved to watch my grandmother as she knitted us sweaters, socks and pillows. It is one of my favorite childhood memories. She is one crafty woman, she not only knits, she also sews and crochets. She is totally amazing. One of my most treasured possessions is a beautiful bedspread which she crocheted {spelling} for me has a wedding gift.
Well today I decided that its time I stop thinking/wishing that I could make something and actually do it. I looked into knitting and well all classes in my area are booked until December, so I will start out with sewing. Saturday I am heading out to Joann’s and will purchase fabric to start this adventure.
Of course the ambitious part of me wants to start off with this gorgeous weekender bag that I saw on flickr!
LOL, now we all know that is not happening, so I am going to start off with this cute little pillow for Ms. Olivia’s room.
We are back from our weekend in New Hampshire! What fun.
