Happy Birthday Grandpa! I Miss You!

I Wish I Could See You One More Time
Come Walking Through My Door
But, I Know That Is Impossible
I Will Hear Your Voice No More
I Know You Can Feel My Tears
And You Don’t Want Me To Cry
Yet, My Heart Is Broken
Because I Can’t Understand Why
Someone So Precious Had To Die
I Pray That God Will Give Me Strength
And Somehow Get Me Through
As I Struggle With This Heartache
That Was Caused By Losing You

Few More Photos from our Vacation....

Here are a few more photos of my Nephew and Ms. Olivia during our vacation earlier this month. They had so much fun at the amusement park, and were so proud that they were able to go on most of the rides by themselves. I think the only one a little sad was me...my little girl is not so little anymore.

We're back from our girls weekend!

We are all back home, safe and sound! Thank you, God!

This weekend was such a blast. It was awesome to finally meet everyone and just sit and chat face to face.

I know that the rest of the group wants pictures, so even though I forgot my camera this weekend, Laurie was so sweet and she took everyone’s pictures and placed them on CD’s. Thank you Laurie for staying up until 5:00 AM doing this, bless you heart!

Here are a few pictures!

Today is the day....

After many months of anticipation today is the day that a few of the girls from my scrapbooking club are getting together for a little reunion. This is going to be sooooo much fun. I can barely wait with excitement to get to Maryland and meet these amazing women.

They are all so sweet/friendly and so talented and I am so glad to have met them through Scrapbook.com. What started has a group to help us grow in our scrapbooking turned into a group of wonderful friendships. Its great to know that when in times of need/happiness or even sadness these amazing women are all there to support each other.

Amy, Angela, Cathy, Laurie, Michelle and Shelley - See you soon!!!!!!!!!

Colleen, Linda, Kristine, Vera and Barb - wish you guys could have made it, but there is always next year.

Finally had to fess up the truth to DH…

And let me tell you guys it really sucked. The week that my mom had surgery I stayed at the house and took my rings off so that I could make her some chicken soup. Well let me tell you that it was the most expensive soup I have ever made.

Somehow or another I lost my wedding band. :( I looked everywhere for it, seriously I even looked in the garbage. YUCK!!!! And nothing, the ring was nowhere to be found. Well my mom said for me not to worry and that she would keep on looking for it. But its been over two weeks and nothing.

Finally I had to confess to my DH that I had lost it. He looked like I had punched him in the stomach, and I guess that I can’t blame him. Its not the money that bothers me it’s the fact that I lost the “RING” with which we said our vows to one another.

He was soo sweet though, he said that once I get back we will go buy a new one and than take it to our priest and have him bless it for us.

So on Monday after we get back I am going ring shopping again, and this time with the promise to my DH that I will never ever again take them off.

I got my grove on and scrapped tonight....

Just tonight I was complaining to my online scrap girlfriends that I have not scrapped in over a month due to a lack of mojo. Well tonight after putting Ms. Olivia to sleep I locked myself in my office with a nice glass of wine, Faith Hill CD and decided to make something.
And I did...I ended up not touching the projects on my desk for the last 3/4 weeks and instead decided to make cards. So now I can rest for the cards for the b-day's in Sept. are done and hopefully my mojo is back on. One can hope~~~

Made these using my Cricut and the "New Arrival" Cartridge. I am seriously loving this cartridge, you can make the cutest cards for little boy birthdays. Can't wait to play with this one again...already have a few ideas running in my head, but of course its 2:00 AM and I seriously need to go to bed. Another day!

Back from Vacation

Every year Dh and I rent a house in Long Beach Island! I absolutely love it there and one day would like to own a house there. {A girl can dream right?}

This year was even better since my mom, brother, niece and nephew also come with us. The kids had such a blast, they absolutely loved spending all day at the beach and than going to the amusement park at night.

I too had such a great time! I was able to catch up on my reading, relax by the water and not have to cook for a whole week. :) Great restaurants and lots of fresh seafood! YUMMY - now back to reality and a little dieting since I gained a little too much weight. :(

Any who...here are some pics. I had such a hard time picking only a few, don't want to bombard you guys with over 800 pictures. LOL

I will post more pics tomorrow...especially the ones from the rides. So fun!!!
