I love to ride the tractor with you and always look forward to Sunday afternoon's when you have to do yard work!
I love that you will read my favorite stories over and over again without complaining, especially PinkAlicious!

I love that you play with my dollies!

I love to talk to you on the phone! It doesn't matter how busy you are you will listen to my ramblings!

I love to snuggle up to you at night when you put me to sleep!

I love you for always running into my room in the middle of the night when I scream for you! You are so patient and stay with me until I fall back asleep!

Sanity!!!!

Exactly how does a sleep deprieved mommy of a 3 Yr Old and a 3 1/2 Week Old keep her SANITY? If you have the secret than please by all means share it, because this mommy is extremely close to loosing hers!!!!

My sweet/loving daughter seems to have taken a complete turn and is now more on the devilish side!!! These last few days she has really kept me on my toes! It never seems to amaze me at the things she comes up with!

Here are just a few examples...
  • While washing her hands Olivia decided that if she used the entire container of hand soap she could make tons of bubbles. After she had the sink overflowing she than decided to use a cup and throw the water all over the bathroom floor!
  • Utensils are serisouly overrated - Who needs them? Surely not my sweet Olivia ... why use the spoon to eat Jello when we can use our hands! Nothing like sticking your hand in the Jello cup and than shoving it straight into your mouth!
  • I love how she prentends like she does not hear me when I call her. She actually turns her head the other way and tries to hide her smile while I sit there and call her name over and over again.
  • TIME - OUT is not feared in this house anymore! She will just sit on the step and sing songs or have a conversation with herself. YES ... she actually will sit there and pretend like she has a dolly and talk to it!
  • But the worst offense in my opinion is when she starts to act/talk like a baby! Ahhhhhh it drives me CraZY! She will just grunt & point and pretend like she can't talk.

On the other hand she is totally and absolutely in LoVe with her Tyler! She wants to hug him and kiss him all the time. When he cries she actually tries to get him to quiet down by either singing to him or rubbing his hand/arm. She truly is a loving & nurturing sister and you can already tell that she is going to be extremely protective of her little brother! I feel sorry for the first little boy/girl that tries to pick on Ty...she will surely beat them up!

Speaking of Tyler, I am amazed at how beautiful he is. I am so in love with him and cannot stop looking/kissing him. I am so grateful that he is such a healthy baby and that GOD gave us such a wonderful blessing!

I have to admit that I was terrified of what it would be like with two children...somehow I was afraid that I would not have enough love/time for both, especially with Olivia being used to having all my attention. I am glad to say that I was so WrOnG...my hearts is overflowing with pride and love and everyday I am even more in love with them!

I am looking forward to all the amazing experiences we will all share together and will continue to enjoy every day! Now if only I could get a little more sleep....maybe than I would feel & look truly "human" again.

A Special Visit

My friend Laurie was super sweet in coming to visit us on Memorial Weekend! It was awesome to see her and to have her meet both Olivia and Tyler. She even stayed long enough that she was able to meet Ryan and well my mom since she was staying with us for the weekend.

Thank you Laurie for bringing me every one's gifts and for throwing me my own little baby shower! And of course thank you Michelle, Cathy, Angela, Amy, Shelly and Linda for the beautiful gifts. I am truly touched by your generosity and thoughtfulness! You are all truly amazing friends and I love you all!

Here are a few pictures that I captured of Laurie and my little ones!
