Just the two of us...

We have certainly been getting alot of "us" time lately! Ryan had to attend a function for work on Monday and I attended with him. We took a little cruise around the bay and got to have dinner and just spend some "alone" time without our little ones.

This was an event sponsored by Coors Light and they raffled a few items, and guess what? We won 2 of the packages!!!!! First Ryan won 2 tickets to Grease in NYC on 9/14 and than about 5 minutes later I won a "Jets Package" with a grill and 2 Jets Jackets. LOL, too bad we are not Jet fans or know anyone who is.


A special THANK YOU to my In-laws for watching Olivia and Tyler! I know they all had a great time, but it can be a little overwhelming with two!

Date Night

My sweet hubby took me out on a date last night. It was the first time I have been away from Tyler, and I have to say that I think I did pretty good.

I was super excited too....Ryan is awesome and took me to a John Mayer Concert. I love him...I think he as the most awesome voice ever and I can listen to him anytime. The concert totally rocked, he is great on stage and really engages the crowd. There was a little girl a couple of rows in front of us with a sign that it was her 10th birthday and halfway into the concert, John Mayer actually sang Happy Birthday to her. I am sure she will never forget it!

Am I ever a lucky girl...we actually had VIP seats and we were up close and personal. {One thing I love about Ryan's job is that he gets little perks like this} Its the closest that I have ever been in a concert and complete different experience. We had dinner in the private VIP Tent while we watched the opening act. It was a great evening.

Thank you BABE for taking me out and making me feel so GOOD. I love how you can always manage to make me feel like the most beautiful and amazing woman in the whole world. YOU Rock and are my SUNSHINE!

Back from Vacation...

We are back from our vacation to the Outer Banks! We stayed in Duck Island and it is absolutely beautiful. A place that I truly highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing family vacation!

Tyler and I pretty much stayed home the whole time because it was really HOT, but Olivia had tons of fun with her daddy and friends at the beach! It was great that we rented a house with a pool this way we could enjoy it in the afternoons once the rest of the crew returned from the beach.

We had a total of 4 couples and 6 children! Olivia being the oldest at 3, Griffin whom will turn 2 on 7/19, Ella whom will turn 2 in September, CJ whom will be 1 on 7/20, and two newborns. Yes, you heard correctly two newborns!!!!!!!! Tyler at 7 weeks and Cara at 6 weeks. Needless to say there was plenty of playing, screaming and crying going on and we all totally loved it. The kids all had a blast and had complete run of the house! The adults all looked forward to our evenings once they were all in bed, tuckered out from the beach and pool.
