Romancing your Marriage {Week 7}

One of the things that I keep on reading is that unfortunately most of us, especially women, have this need to have a "perfect" relationship. The truth is that there is no such thing, and by expecting one you are not only paralyzing yourself but your partner.

We all need to eliminate the goal of perfection. Instead we need to focus on the things that will help us grow together as couples.
Now for the fun part...read the following list of THINGS WE SHOULD NOT DO and figure out now many of these we all commit without really realizing how hurtful it can be to our relationship.
  • Don't gloat when you're right
  • Don't sulk when you don't get your way
  • Don't worry - be happy.
  • Don't try to pack too much into the weekend
  • Don't over-schedule your vacations
  • Don't make the same mistake twice
  • Don't undermine your partner's authority with your kids
  • Don't reveal the ending of a movie
  • Don't spend your "Prime Time" watching TV
  • Don't be a "cover-stealer" in bed.
  • Don't interrupt when he/she's talking
  • Don't wait - EXPRESS your love right now
  • Don't hold grudges
  • Don't take one another for granted
  • Don't go a single day without saying "I love You"
  • Don't let your mind wander during conversations
  • Don't wait for your partner to read your mind
  • Don't be so judgmental

Now after reading the list I realized that I am guilt of many and I mean many of these and that I need to really work on not doing it.
